I honestly don’t know what I’m doing but hi! hello! I am Maria and I love writing, traveling and photography! Recently I started dabbling with film photography as well!

My love for writing started when I was a kid. I guess it rooted from my love of reading. I started with writing diaries, just my mundane day to day life experiences and then it evolves to writing some fictional stories. I remember keeping tons and tons and notebooks with my writings on it. But then I grew up and life happened so I stopped.

I discovered my love for photography when I was 15 or 18 years old. I remember for my 18th birthday all I asked my parents were a camera. They gifted me the Canon IXY Digital, my very first camera which I still have and still in perfect condition.

During college, I took journalism, creative writing and photography classes. That’s when I got my second camera and my very first DSLR, the Nikon D3100. Then I gifted myself my very first mirrorless camera which is the Fujifilm xt20, which I bought back in 2017. But I got busy with work and life that I lose my passion with photography and I didn’t have enough time to practice and improve.

So I decided to create this blog so I can have my own safe space where I can express and rediscover my love for writing and a spca where I can improve my photography skills. I want a place where I can document those journeys and see where it will lead me.
